Was resolution on
statue taken?
PANAJI: Amid demands for statues of several leaders in the assembly complex, efforts are underway to ascertain if a decision had been taken in the Legislative Assembly stating that no statue should be installed in the assembly complex.
The BJP has claimed that a decision was taken in the Legislative Assembly, but written documents were not available.
Asked if a resolution had been passed in this connection, Dr Sawant said: “Efforts are currently underway to find out whether resolution was taken or not.”
