The CBI has on Sunday arrested Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in Delhi Liquor Policy case. Whilst I am not placed to judge whether or not he is guilty, I am sure that many Goans will agree with me as to how blatant is the BJP with regards to their double standards! In Goa particularly, we have an ex-BJP CM who has been clearly found by Lokayukta to be guilty in mining cases but the Goa government declined to prosecute him! Currently a BJP minister (ex Congressman) is still free and in governance despite the party having all the videos/photos/proof of his leadership on the attack of the Panjim Police station. An ex-Congress CM (from Salcette) was thoroughly exposed by the BJP earlier on the approx Rs 35,000 crores mining scam and used this to get to power and now has taken his ex-Congress man into the BJP. Late CM Manohar Parrikar called an ex-Congressman as the most corrupt regarding the power scam case and now this very person is a senior minister in the BJP Goa government. I wonder how long this state of despicable politics will run in India/Goa.
