Total ban on taking selfies at risky locations needed

The recent drowning deaths at Keri of 4 youngsters reminds one of how callous our people  can be. Despite well marked, warning signs put up at such vulnerable spots of "no swim zones", "no selfie zones" people defy death warnings only to click some exotic selfies. Such shots should necessarily not be taken by putting one's life at risk, these can be shot in safer zones.  These 4 victims were part of a party of 25 who descended  on Keri beach that fateful Sunday when tragedy struck. Such tragedies occur when parents or other supervisors turn their backs when all of a sudden a breakaway group ventures out to take selfies only to be done in by a gigantic wave. All such deaths could be avoided only if their managers or parents gave sound advice to youngsters ,who have to make efforts to curb their own cavalier urges and instincts of not taking exotic dangerous selfies. The authorities should contemplate putting a blanket ban on taking selfies at strategic deadly locations with appropriate sign boards displayed.
