Follow true principles of Shivaji Maharaj

From what I understood about Shivaji Maharaj from history, he appears to have been a leader who was fair, promoted communal harmony and his character/principles would have followed the Rule of law of today and hence never allowed the mob lawlessness and damage to public property, that people were doing under his name at Calangute earlier this week.

Granted that many Panchayats like Calangute Panchayat allow illegalities, so then I would have rather appreciated of this group of people went after (lawfully of course) all these illegalities. Also there are critical issues facing Goa like Mhadei diversion, massive conversion/destruction of Goa’s land/forests/wildlife/waterbodies, coal pollution etc. Why are these groups of people silent on all the latter? Would Shivaji Maharaj not have fought for Justice on the latter against corrupt/destructive Goan/Indian politicians, had he been alive ?
