Speaker indulging in some uncomfortable plainspeak

Of late the Goa assembly speaker and BJP Canacona MLA seems to have developed a conscience and has been indulging in some uncomfortable plainspeak. Tawadkar has categorically mentioned that he is not satisfied with the functioning of the government and the performance of its ministers. Tawadkar is also miffed at the fact that the CM has not taken any disciplinary action against Govind Gaude who has showed disrespect to the former on numerous occasions. The speaker has even threatened to resign if matters continue this way. It seems there is a tussle within the ruling party members as to who is the bigger representative of the tribal / SC/ ST community. I doubt whether the speaker's fulminations will have any effect on Pramod Sawant who has his hands full firefighting in the jobs-for-cash scam, campaigning in Maharashtra for BJP candidates, cautioning people against missionaries, sowing discord in society, and visiting temples across the country to burnish his Hindutva credentials.  I won't be surprised if the speaker of the Goa assembly is shunted out on the orders of the Centre for sprouting a spine and trying to appropriate the moral high ground.
