This is a true incident of my life which took place on 14June 2012 at Delhi.

I had been for my summer vacation to Kashmir on our returnwe stayed at Delhi. On 14th of June my mother, sister, aunt and I planned tovisit the lotus temple. We were supposed to board the metro train from G.T.BNagar to the Central Secretariat.  Whenthe train came, my mom and aunt were enquiring whether the train will go to theCentral Secretariat.

On hearing a yes, my mom, aunt and sister climbed into thetrain “ my mom called me, I ran but when I was about to enter the door closed. My mother tried to open the door but it was of no use. My mother showed me byaction “you stand here I will come back.”

Standing there in the platform I was afraid, lost, tensed…what will happen to me? This was my first visit to Delhi, and first time in ametro train. I prayed to God and as an blessing- one college boy came to me andgave me his phone and told me to call my mother. When I called, she told me- Iam already in another train coming back, and falguni- you just stand where youare and don’t move, don’t go anywhere or with anyone.

I was standing and crying waiting to see a glimpse of mymother. I made up my   mind that I willnever live my mother’s hand. The clock was moving like a snail.

Then I saw my mother running and coming towards me, I and mymother were hugging and crying. I was so……………………happy.

We all thanked the boy who had given me the phone and stayedwith me till my mother came. The train came and we proceeded to our destination. This was the day I will never ever forget in my life!!!!
