A farmer and his wife lived in a small cottage. They had twopots as their only utensils. One was made of brass and the other one was madeof clay.

One day it rained so heavily that all the cottages of thevillage were submerged. There was water all over. So the two pots were alsocarried away by the high tide.

On the way the two pots again came together. And a littleconversation began between them. Hello- said the brass pot. Isnt this rain sobeautiful- replied the clay pot at a littel distance- but why are you stayingso away from me? Come nearby and catch hold of me so that we stay together andyou dont end up crashing with some stone.

One listening to his words the clay pot replied- Its goodthat you have thought about it, But it’s better that we stay away from eachother. Because being together, if a high tide hits us, we are sure to collideand i will surely crash. But being away from you if i happen to hit a stone, then it will be my destiny. Thank you for being so concerned.

So they stayed at a little distance and talked for a longtime.

Moral of the story ....... Being friends with too powerfulis bad. Because in a fight the weaker shall suffer
