The Congress has a task at hand to revive the party in its bastion Navelim, where the Lotus bloomed for the first time in 2022. GPCC chief Amitbab Patkar may suddenly realize that the party is facing a leadership void in Navelim, where Congress-turned-TMC MP Luizinhbab Faleiro once dominated the scene since 1980. The exit of Luizinhbab and other Congress leaders, including Pratimabai Coutinho and others in the run-up to the recently held Assembly polls, has created a leadership void in Navelim.
