MARGAO
Bastora Boys clinched the 5-a-side hockey title after a thrilling final against Young Sports Club in a tournament organised by the Rebuild India Trust at Don Bosco, Fatorda, on Sunday. Insight Guddi Paroda secured third place. The tournament concluded under floodlights at 9 pm. A total of 17 teams participated, with 126 players from across Goa showcasing their talent in a fun-filled event that began at 8:30 am.
The valedictory function was graced by Goan hockey patron and former Chief Minister Churchill Alemao, who spoke about the importance of involving young boys in sports.
