Goa recorded zero Covid-related deaths according to the mortality bulletin of the Directorate of Health Services. The total Covid victim count remains stable at 701.
A total of 159 new cases of the infection were detected from among the 2,142 samples tested in the last 24 hours placing the positivity rate at 7.4 per cent.
With this, the total confirmed cases detected in the state so far have now touched 48,935. Of these, the active cases are 1,310 while 46,924 have recovered with the recovery rate being 95.89 per cent.
