The accidents on Goan roads are increasing daily and deaths and grievous injuries are on rise. The number of vehicles on roads have increased and everyone is in a hurry to reach their destination, but in the process unforunate things happen and one does not reach home.The accidents are mostly due to human error and judgement while driving vehicles. Once a person is in driver's seat be it four- wheeler or two-wheeler the rider has no time and patience and speeds up which results in such mishaps.Today all vehicles have speed limits upto 120 km/hr on speedometer and one thinks he/she can rev up to maximum. The need of the hour is traffic discipline on roads and avoiding overtaking of vehicles. It's time that Ministry of Transport implements some rule on vehicle manufacturers to come out with solution of speed limits like blowing of siren if one crosses the speed of 80 to 100 km/per hr on road and also limit the speed of vehicles to a maximum of 80 km/hr so that there is control on the speed.
